Electric Blue Update
As I mentioned on Friday, my plan was to dabble into neon drinks. First up 
is the Electric Blue Margarita. Here’s how I did it.
As I looked over my home bar, I realized that I didn’t have all the ingredients so I had to make some alterations.
Original recipe called for
1 1/2 oz Tequila 
1/2 oz Blue Curacao
1/2 oz fresh lime juice
I went with
2 oz Cabo Wabo Tequila
1/2 oz Rose’s Blue Raspberry Mix
1/2 oz Patron Citronge Orange Liqueur
I am certainly happy with the results. Not sure what I’ll do next weekend but certainly open to suggestions.

Electric Blue Margarita
The Neon Light, Bright and Tight Crawl is next month. Get your tickets soon. I already have neon on my mind. So this weekend I’ll be trying out an Electric Blue Margarita.
1 1/2 oz Tequila 
1/2 oz Blue Curacao
1/2 oz fresh lime juice
Moisten rim of cocktail glass with lime wedge, and salt rim of glass. In a shaker half filled with ice, combine tequila, blue curacao, and lime juice.
Shake well. Strain into glass. Garnish with lime wedge.
It’s the weekend so I’ll probably double the tequila amount and perhaps add a splash of peach schnapps. Cheers

Hello August
On 9/28/13 we’re excited to be bringing you our first ever Neon Light, Bright & Tight Bar Crawl.
Tickets continue to go very quickly. We sold out of all our early bird tickets in just a few days. And now we’re out of our regular priced tickets. We have about 2 months to go until the event but we’ll run out of tickets way before then. So don’t wait too much longer. We’re planning on capping at around 300 so we can manage one bar per time slot.
Your ticket will include a bunch of goodies including Drink specials at all the bars, Koozie, Neon Shutter Shades, Glow Sticks, Glow Necklaces, Finger Beams, Neon Fangs, Glow Wristbands and we’ll also have a limited amount of face paint available.
We’ve even started a Pinterest page to inspire you with tons of ideas. Currently we have almost 300 pins.

Tickets are going fast. We sold out of all our early bird tickets in just a few days. Currently we’ve sold around 45% of our regular tickets. We’re planning on capping at around 300 so we can manage one bar per time slot.

Christmas In July is Tomorrow
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas In July bar crawl!
We have a few quick points of order for all of you attending:
Registration opens at 12:00 sharp and ends at 3:00. If you didn’t get your electronic ticket, check your spam folder or sign into your EventBrite account to find it there.
We will be checking in people electronically. You will need to bring either a printed Eventbrite ticket, or show the app on your phone. If you don’t have a paper ticket or the phone app, you can use your ID to pick up your ticket.
Once you register you will get a special wristband along with your t-shirt and koozie.
If you have a Santa Early Bird Ticket or Rudolph Regular Ticket, you will have a shirt guaranteed in your size. But if you have a Grinch Last Call Ticket, it will be first come, first serve in terms of sizes. We had to order the shirts weeks ago to make sure they would arrive on time. So we had to guesstimate on the sizes we’d need. And it turns out we had too many smalls and not enough extra large. So please keep this in mind.
The first 3 bars will be
12:00 – 12:50 – Paddy O’s – 33 Union Street
1:00 – 1:50 – Hennessy’s – 25 Union Street
2:00 – 3:00 – Wild Rover – 61 Chatham Street
Once again, you must register by 3:00. Afterwards the extra shirts (if applicable) will be up for grabs.
We will have about 20 total tickets available for day of sales for wristbands only for $20 which will get you access to all of the bars and drink specials. These are on a first come, first serve basis. EXACT CHANGE ONLY. They won’t include shirts but we’ll have other goodies for these ticket types.
Bar schedule:
You will receive the entire schedule when you register. We have 9 total bars participating. All the bars will be in the Faneuil Hall and Financial District areas. We will give you the rest of the schedule upon check in. We want to keep this event as exclusive as possible for your own comfort. Please note, the bars have the right to refuse entry to anyone due to bar capacity or personal incapacity.
Remember to drink responsibly. We strongly encourage the use of public transportation/cabs/Uber/Hailo etc.

Registration Info for Pirate Crawl this Saturday
Ahoy me hearties!
Pirate Crawl / Party Cruise tickets here. Under 20 total tickets remain. 
The Pirate Pub Crawl and Party Cruise is Saturday (June 8th)!We hope you are ready to raise the Jolly Roger and have a swashbucklin’ good time!
Here are some questions that we have been receiving and some general info to prepare you for the crawl/cruise:
How do I get my wristband(s)?
There will be a will call at Kitty O’Shea’s (131 State St.) from 12:00 – 1:30. There will also be a will call set up at the harbor (200 Seaport) starting at 1:00 pm.
In order to receive a wristband, you need a government issued id (driver’s license or passport) – without a government id, you cannot receive your ticket!If you purchased more than one ticket, your id will get you the number of tickets that you ordered.If you purchased a ticket for someone else, and you will not be in attendance, please let us know so we can switch the names in our system. ALSO PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU HAVE AN OUT OF STATE ID, BRING BACK UP IDENTIFICATION TO BOARD THE BOAT (credit card in your name, etc). This is the cruise company’s policy and they are very strict on whom they allow on board. We have no say on this issue.
Why do I need a wristband?
The wristband will get you on the boat for the party cruise. Additionally access to the bars along with a Pirate Crawl koozie and temporary tattoos.
Will the Crawl and Cruise happen rain or shine?
The crawl will happen rain or shine.As long as it is safe to be on the water, regardless of the weather, the cruise will also take place.The boat also has covered and enclosed decks, so you will be able to stay dry on the boat.In the unlikely event that the cruise is canceled, you will receive a refund.
What is the schedule?And what are the drink specials at each bar?
You will receive the full schedule and drink specials once you get your wristband. We have 7 bars along with the cruise. Each bar will have a $3 or less special except during the cruise.
The cruise will take place from 2:00 – 3:30 GO TO THE HARBOR FOR BOARDING EARLY – No shenanigans, no tomfoolery, no ballyhoo – You must be on the boat by 2!!!! You will receive a map upon getting your wristband, or you can follow your fellow pirates, or even take a cab or pedicab if you’re feeling lazy.
Any changes to the schedule will be posted both on the Facebook page and on www.CrawlinBoston.com
Please support the official bars along the crawl and do not wander off to other bars! Not only is it fun to crawl together, but some bars near the boat have actually told us they don’t want to be a part of the crawl. We want to respect their wishes while also keeping our thirsty business with those who actually want it! Trust us, we wish we could enjoy the bars in the Seaport as well.
Should I wear a costume?
Absolutely.What fun is a PIRATE crawl if you aren’t dressed as a PIRATE? That being said, you can go as big or as small as you want.
