Drinko de Mayo getting scarce

Posted on Updated on

margartWe’re down to our final few Last Call tickets. We’re looking into options into getting more shirts but it’s doubtful as the event is too close at this point. We will have tickets available minus the shirt option. And if we can find a way to get more shirts those will be included.

Pirate (way ahead of pace from our biggest ever of last year) and now Red, White & Brew (tickets on sale NOW).

More upcoming stuff

Believe or not, the Celtics are in the playoffs vs LeBron and the Cavs. The games have been competitive going into the final quarter. I don’t expect to win the series but we can support our feisty team at the Garden.

The Wine Riot is a personal favorite. Tickets are sold out but they do have a wait list.

The Boston Sailing Center is having their open house on Saturday and Sunday. Free sailing on the Boston Harbor.

Marathon Monday. Lots going on today.

My favorite sneakers are ready. Boston Strong

Good luck to all the runners on this less than sunny Patriot’s Day. I’ll be out there cheering 0.6 miles from the finish line. I’ll get as loud as I can to get you to the finish line.

Here’s a list of things to do today for those of you coming into the city but not running.

Drinko de Mayo is May 2nd. Regular tickets are now sold out. We’re down to Last Call tickets.

Pirate (way ahead of pace from our biggest ever of last year) and now Red, White & Brew (tickets on sale NOW).

Everyone who buys a ticket will get a shirt but we can only guarantee your size if you order by Friday. We’re going to guesstimate the rest. So if you wear a small and don’t order by Friday you could end up with an XL shirt on May 2nd.

Margarita Monday – Strawberry Sriracha

Posted on

Drinko de Mayo is under a month to go. We plan on featuring 20150406_185931margarita recipes every Monday until then. Last week we made a delicious chocolate and peanut butter one. Last year we featured kiwi, chocolate and avocado.

20150406_191420This week we’re trying Strawberry Sriracha with the recipe that we found here. It packs a punch (granted I pretty much doubled the sriracha that the recipe called for). Love it

Margarita Monday – Chocolate and Peanut Butter

Posted on Updated on

Drinko de Mayo is next on the agenda. And with the weather (allegedly) hitting 60 degrees this Friday I’ve peanut chocolategot margaritas on the mind. Last year we featured kiwi, chocolate and avocado.

This year we’re kicking it off with a chocolate and peanut butter variety. And it’s the best thing that I’ve made in awhile. Love this thing. And it’s a pretty simple recipe.

Tequila, chocolate liqueur, creamy peanut butter and ice into the blender and away we go. I could get addicted to this.

BONUS BELT BUCKLES!

belt buckle

The belt buckles have arrived! We had some issues getting these made. So much so that we didn’t even list them as one of the giveaways for the Wild West Crawl. I figured they’d end up sitting in my closet for a year until Wild West Crawl 2016. But with a lot of effort we now have them in hand and will be added to your gift bags for the crawl tomorrow.

Online tickets are still on sale here. And you can also purchase at Kinsale tomorrow between Noon – 3:00.

Registration info for the crawl can be found here

Wild West Crawl Registration Info

The Wild West Crawl is this Saturday!westflyer

We have a few points of order to help make the day go as smoothly as possible:

Registration opens at 12:00 sharp and ends at 3:00.

You will need to bring either a printed Eventbrite ticket or show the app on your phone. If you don’t have a paper ticket or the phone app, you can use your ID to pick up your ticket. Please be ready when you get to the top of the line. We’ll be checking in hundreds of you and nobody wants to be stuck behind the person who doesn’t have any of their stuff ready.

Tickets are still available online. You can also purchase them at the door on Saturday for $25.00. Your ticket includes $3 or less drink at each bar, Crawl In Boston Bolo Tie, Inflatable Guitar, Sheriff Badge, Fake Mustache, Temporary Tattoos, Koozie, Line Dance Class, Limbo Contest, Photo Booth and No Covers at Scheduled Bars

Registration will be by last name by ticket buyer:

12:00 – 3:00 – Kinsale – 2 Center Plaza

The Line Dance Class will be 1:00 – 2:oo – Paddy O’s – 33 Union Street

Bar schedule:

You will receive the entire schedule when you register. All the bars will be in the Faneuil Hall and Financial District areas. We are not releasing the schedule prior to the crawl, as we want to keep this event as exclusive as possible for your own comfort. Please note, the bars have the right to refuse entry to anyone due to bar capacity or personal incapacity. Also, you will need to show a valid license or ID to gain entry to each of the bars.

CASH IS KING

I know that bringing your card might be easy. But when tons of people are trying to order drinks, it takes a lot more time to open and close a tab than to pay with cash. Plus you’d be surprised about how many people forget to close their tabs at the end of the night and leave for home without their credit cards. There are multiple ATMs around Faneuil Hall…check one out!

Remember to drink responsibly and use public transportation.  Don’t drink and drive!
