Raise a toast to Franklin Park Zoo’s annual wine and beer tasting event! Throughout the evening, guests have the opportunity to sample wines while strolling among the animals in the Zoo’s signature Tropical Forest Pavilion. Here, guests can see western lowland gorillas, pygmy hippo, ring-tailed-lemurs, a giant anteater and many other fascinating species.
10 days to go. The koozies have arrived. Included with much more for the Pirate Crawl / Boston Harbor Cruise on June 16th. Last call tickets are available. Learn much more at pirate18.eventbrite.com
Social Softball is coming back to Saturday Afternoons! This will be a 14″ softball league. A 14″ ball is a little larger than a typical softball which makes them easier to hit but harder to hit out of the park!
This is a one of a kind experience where you’ll never strike out making friends. Sign up as an individual or full team. We’ll group you with peers in your age group to offer a one-of-a-kind social experience where you’ll never strike out making friends. Learn more here.
Thanks everyone. Our regular tickets sold out last evening. We’re now down to our Last Call Tickets. We’re so very excited to be partying with you next weekend.
Still not sure? A picture tells a thousand words and we’ve got hundreds of those.
Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday. If you have friends still looking to join. We still have some spaces left.
Your ticket will get you entry into the bars, a $3.50 or less drink special, photo booth, light up wand, koozie, temporary tattoos, drawstring back pack and no covers at scheduled bar.
Don’t miss out. Accio beer!
We have a few points of order to help make the day as smooth as possible:
Registration opens at 12:00 sharp and ends at 3:00.
You will need to bring either a printed Eventbrite ticket or show the app on your phone. If you don’t have a paper ticket or the phone app, you can use your ID to pick up your ticket. Please be ready when you get to the top of the line. We’ll be checking in hundreds of crawlers and nobody wants to be stuck behind the person who doesn’t have any of their stuff ready. Only the ticket buyer needs to be present. If multiple tickets were bought, you’ll get all your goodies at once and you can pass on the extras to your friends.
We have 9 – 11 bars in the Faneuil Hall/Financial District area planned. There is another big crawl from another group that day and we’re planning to visit places not associated with their schedule.
You will receive the entire schedule when you register. All the bars will be in the Faneuil Hall and Financial District areas. We are not releasing the schedule prior to the crawl, as we want to keep this event as exclusive as possible for your own comfort. Please note, the bars have the right to refuse entry to anyone due to bar capacity or personal incapacity. Also, you will need to show a valid license or ID to gain entry to each of the bars (this is the bars’ policy).
CASH IS KING
I know that bringing your card might be easy. But when tons of people are trying to order drinks, it takes a lot more time to open and close a tab than to pay with cash. Plus you’d be surprised about how many people forget to close their tabs at the end of the night and leave for home without their credit cards. There are multiple ATMs around Faneuil Hall…check one out. Also, remember to tip your bartenders!
Remember to drink responsibly and use public transportation. Don’t drink and drive!
Ticket includes $3 or less drink option at each bar, Winter Pom Hat, Santa Wine Bottle Cover, Koozie, Candy Cane, Temporary Tattoos, Drawstring Bag, Photo Booth and No Covers at Scheduled Bars.
Last week the koozies and selfie sticks were delivered. This afternoon we got our beverage mitts. So we’re ready for Saturday. We can’t wait to see what inventive costumes you’ll have this year.Have a fantastic week and enjoy this weather!
Red, White and Brew will take place on July 11th. Early bird tickets are now sold out but we have plenty of regular tickets available. More details on that here.
This weekend
The Lawn on D kicks off an exciting new season during opening weekend, May 15-17
Believe or not, the Celtics are in the playoffs vs LeBron and the Cavs. The games have been competitive going into the final quarter. I don’t expect to win the series but we can support our feisty team at the Garden.
We’re down to our final few Last Call tickets. We’re looking into options into getting more shirts but it’s doubtful as the event is too close at this point. We will have tickets available minus the shirt option. And if we can find a way to get more shirts those will be included.
