Registration Info for Pirate Crawl this Saturday

Posted on Updated on

Ahoy me hearties!

Pirate Crawl / Party Cruise tickets here. Under 20 total tickets remain. pirate koozie

The Pirate Pub Crawl and Party Cruise is Saturday (June 8th)!We hope you are ready to raise the Jolly Roger and have a swashbucklin’ good time!

Here are some questions that we have been receiving and some general info to prepare you for the crawl/cruise:

How do I get my wristband(s)?

There will be a will call at Kitty O’Shea’s (131 State St.) from 12:00 – 1:30. There will also be a will call set up at the harbor (200 Seaport) starting at 1:00 pm.

In order to receive a wristband, you need a government issued id (driver’s license or passport) – without a government id, you cannot receive your ticket! If you purchased more than one ticket, your id will get you the number of tickets that you ordered. If you purchased a ticket for someone else, and you will not be in attendance, please let us know so we can switch the names in our system. ALSO PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU HAVE AN OUT OF STATE ID, BRING BACK UP IDENTIFICATION TO BOARD THE BOAT (credit card in your name, etc). This is the cruise company’s policy and they are very strict on whom they allow on board. We have no say on this issue.

Why do I need a wristband?

The wristband will get you on the boat for the party cruise. Additionally access to the bars along with a Pirate Crawl koozie and temporary tattoos.

Will the Crawl and Cruise happen rain or shine?

The crawl will happen rain or shine. As long as it is safe to be on the water, regardless of the weather, the cruise will also take place. The boat also has covered and enclosed decks, so you will be able to stay dry on the boat.In the unlikely event that the cruise is canceled, you will receive a refund.

What is the schedule? And what are the drink specials at each bar?

You will receive the full schedule and drink specials once you get your wristband. We have 7 bars along with the cruise. Each bar will have a $3 or less special except during the cruise.

The cruise will take place from 2:00 – 3:30 GO TO THE HARBOR FOR BOARDING EARLY – No shenanigans, no tomfoolery, no ballyhoo – You must be on the boat by 2!!!! You will receive a map upon getting your wristband, or you can follow your fellow pirates, or even take a cab or pedicab if you’re feeling lazy.

Any changes to the schedule will be posted both on the Facebook page and on www.CrawlinBoston.com

Please support the official bars along the crawl and do not wander off to other bars! Not only is it fun to crawl together, but some bars near the boat have actually told us they don’t want to be a part of the crawl. We want to respect their wishes while also keeping our thirsty business with those who actually want it! Trust us, we wish we could enjoy the bars in the Seaport as well.

Should I wear a costume?

Absolutely. What fun is a PIRATE crawl if you aren’t dressed as a PIRATE? That being said, you can go as big or as small as you want.

Where do I go for updates on the Pirate Pub Crawl and Booze Cruise?

You can always stay on top of things at http://crawlinboston.com or on our Facebook page (Crawl in Boston). You can email CrawlinBoston@gmail.com if you have any questions.

We will notify you via email (of all ticketed participants) of any major changes to the information above.

See you Saturday!

Old School Crawling

Posted on Updated on

Busy season has passed. Between the Halloween Crawl through the Irish Pub Challenge, we annually get 1,000+ people at each of our events. We vslove it. However I’m pretty excited about our first “intimate” crawl of 2013 (if 300 people can be considered intimate). The big crawls are awesome. However I enjoy the old school niche crawls as well. I’m looking forward to having one bar per time slot and everyone traveling at the same time. Easier for us to manage ticketing and making sure our crawlers have exclusive access to the bars. Plus we’ll have much more time to chat with you all as well. Your feedback keeps this thing going.

Looking forward to seeing our hardcore crawlers in a few weeks. Price changes on April 1st so save your cash and buy now. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Bar Crawl is on April 20th so already under a month to go.

We’re looking forward to seeing you there. Some of you have already shared some of your costumes and we’re more than impressed. And we’ve also set up a Pinterest Page for inspiration.

Also…we still have a couple spots open for our Bocce In Boston Spring League which begins next month.

New Year’s Eve and Valentine’s Crawl

Posted on Updated on

IMG_0044Thanks for coming yesterday. Hope you made it to most, if not all, of our 12 Bars of X-Mas. Photo Booth pictures now available here.

If you did take pictures yesterday and posted on facebook, please tag Crawl In Boston.

Next up is our first ever New Year’s Eve Party: OPEN BAR. Yesterday we had about 1,400 attend. For New Year’s Eve we only have 160 total tickets and many have already been sold. So please buy soon. We won’t have the ability to add more tickets as the venue can only fit a certain amount of people. Here’s our NYE Pinterest Page for inspiration.

Our next crawl will be our Valentine’s event. We’re still ironing out those details but tickets should be available soon. Save the date: 2/9/13.

Cheers! -C.I.B.

TODAY! Registration and Extra Tickets

Posted on Updated on

Halloween Crawl is TODAY!

We can’t wait to see you later today!  We have a few points of order:

Registration opens at 12:30 sharp.

Registration will be by LAST name on your EventBrite ticket. If you didn’t get your electronic ticket, check your spam folder or sign into your EventBrite account to find it there. Also note that you may have purchased it using an e-mail that you don’t use all the time.

You will need to show a photo ID matching the name on the ticket.  If you purchased tickets for your friends, you will need to pick up their wristbands and paraphernalia.  You will need to bring either a printed Eventbrite ticket, or show the app on your phone.  We realize that your check in bar might be different than your friends’.  This is really just the easiest way to do it, so you can meet up with them after you check in, the bars are very close together.  You won’t be able to check in at a bar that isn’t assigned to you. Our guest list locked at noon today and we can’t make any changes.

“A – F” – Durty Nelly’s 108 Blackstone St.

“G – R” – Paddy O’s 33 Union St

“S – Z” – Mija Cantina 1 South Market Place, Faneuil Hall Marketplace

If you plan on arriving after 3:30, please register at Paddy O’s as the other stations will close down then. Paddy O’s registration will close at 4:30. Tickets for people who haven’t checked in by then will go to the public.

We will have about 50 total tickets available for day of sales for wristbands only for $30 which will get you access to all of the bars and drink specials. These are on a first come, first serve basis. They will be available at each of the registration bars above.  EXACT CHANGE ONLY.

Bar schedule

You will receive the entire schedule when you register. We have 19 total bars participating. All the bars will be in the Faneuil Hall, Financial District and North Station areas.  We are not releasing the schedule prior to the crawl to avoid crawl crashers (we’ve already seen the facebook and twitter posts).  We want to keep this event as exclusive as possible for your own comfort.  Please note, the bars have the right to refuse entry to anyone due to bar capacity or personal incapacity.  Remember to drink responsibly!

Have a great time on Saturday!  Happy Halloween!

Hope to see you also on the 12 Bars of X-Mas which is also going to sell out. Save some cash and buy now before the price increases.
