Pirate Crawl is Today!
Ahoy Matey!
It’s Pirate Crawl Day! We’re just a few hours from starting year 6! Please take a look at our registration info if you haven’t done so yet.
The weather has taken a slight turn since mid-week. But possible showers won’t keep this group of Pirates back. Remember that we have 2 fully covered decks in case of showers during the cruise. Plenty of room for everyone.
Tickets will remain on sale until 1:00 today. We still have room for you!

Pirate Crawl Registration Info
Ahoy me hearties!
The Pirate Pub Crawl and Party Cruise is Saturday June 14th! We hope you are ready to raise the Jolly Roger and have a swashbucklin’ good time!
Here are some questions that we have been receiving and some general info to prepare you for the crawl/cruise:
How do I get my wristband(s)?
There will be a will call at Atlantic Beer Garden, 146 Northern Ave, from 12:00 – 1:30. There will also be a will call set up at the harbor, 200 Seaport Blvd starting at 1:15 pm.
You will need to bring either a printed Eventbrite ticket or show the app on your phone. If you don’t have a paper ticket or the phone app, you can use your ID to pick up your ticket. Please be ready when you get to the top of the line. We’ll be checking in hundreds of you and nobody wants to be stuck behind the person who doesn’t have any of their stuff ready.
ALSO PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU HAVE AN OUT OF STATE ID, BRING BACK UP IDENTIFICATION TO BOARD THE BOAT (credit card in your name, etc). This is the cruise company’s policy and they are very strict on whom they allow on board. We have no say on this issue. They will be checking everyone after you sign in with us.
Why do I need a wristband?
The wristband will get you on the boat for the party cruise. Additionally access to the bars along with a Pirate Crawl koozie and temporary tattoos.
Will the Crawl and Cruise happen rain or shine?
The crawl will happen rain or shine. As long as it is safe to be on the water, regardless of the weather, the cruise will also take place. The boat also has covered and enclosed decks, so you will be able to stay dry on the boat. In the unlikely event that the cruise is canceled, you will receive a refund. The weekend weather forecast looks awesome so we should not have a problem at all.
What is the schedule? And what are the drink specials at each bar?
You will receive the full schedule and drink specials once you get your wristband. We have 6 bars along with the cruise. Most bars will have a $3 or less special except during the cruise. It may be hard for some of the bars to fill everyone at the same time. Please use the schedule as the suggested route. The bars know that you may be arriving earlier than what we have down due to capacity issues. They’ll be ready for you. You can always come back to another bar later.
The cruise will take place from 2:00 – 3:30 GO TO THE HARBOR AT 200 SEAPORT BLVD FOR BOARDING EARLY. The boarding will begin at 1:30. – No shenanigans, no tomfoolery, no ballyhoo – You must be on the boat by 2:00!!!!There are no refunds if you’re running late and miss the cruise portion.
Should I wear a costume?
Absolutely. What fun is a PIRATE crawl if you aren’t dressed as a PIRATE? That being said, you can go as big or as small as you want. Check out pictures from the past 5 years.
We will notify you via email (of all ticketed participants) of any major changes to the information above.

The Pirate Crawl is Coming
Memorial Day is this weekend so that means the Pirate Crawl can’t be too far behind. Not sure of my plan for this long weekend but hopefully it will include some patio drinking and oyster happy hours.
The Pirate Crawl takes place on June 14th. Tickets for this are on sale now. We’ve already sold more than our largest past crawl. This will be our biggest and best yet!

Drinko de Mayo Registration Info
We can’t wait to see you on Saturday for Drinko de Mayo. We actually sold out last night but demand has been so high that we added another handful of tickets. That said we don’t want it to be so crowded that you can’t order a drink so we do have a limit for sure. So if you have friends that are slacking, have them buy their tickets ASAP before they’re gone!
We have a few points of order to help make the day as smooth as possible:
Registration opens at 12:00 sharp and ends at 3:00.
You will need to bring either a printed Eventbrite ticket or show the app on your phone. If you don’t have a paper ticket or the phone app, you can use your ID to pick up your ticket. Please be ready when you get to the top of the line. We’ll be checking in hundreds of you and nobody wants to be stuck behind the person who doesn’t have any of their stuff ready.
Registration will be
12:00 – Kinsale – 2 Center Plaza
2:00 – Hennessy’s – 25 Union Street
2:30 – Paddy O’s – 33 Union Street
We will have about 20 total tickets available for day of sales for $25 which will include the $3 or less drink specials at all the bars, Koozie and Photo Booth. These are on a first come, first serve basis. EXACT CHANGE ONLY. They can be purchased at either of the above scheduled registration bars.
Bar schedule:
You will receive the entire schedule when you register. We have 9 bars total. All the bars will be in the Faneuil Hall and Financial District areas. We are not releasing the schedule prior to the crawl, as we want to keep this event as exclusive as possible for your own comfort. Please note, the bars have the right to refuse entry to anyone due to bar capacity or personal incapacity. Also, you will need to show a valid license or ID to gain entry to the bars.
CASH IS KING
I know that bringing your card might be easy. But when tons of people are trying to order drinks, it takes a lot more time to open and close a tab than to pay with cash. Plus you’d be surprised about how many people forget to close their tabs at the end of the night and leave for home without their credit cards. There are multiple ATMs around Faneuil Hall…check one out!
Harbor City Photo Booth will be at Drinko de Mayo for free take home pictures. They’ll be at Kinsale only between Noon – 1:45 ONLY.

Drinko de Mayo Photo Contest
Crawl In Boston is happy to announce our very first Drinko de Mayo Photo Contest.
We want to keep it as simple as possible so here how it goes:
1. Take a photo during the Drinko de Mayo Crawl on Saturday.
2. Add hash tag with both #crawlinboston AND #drinkodemayo if posting to Instagram or Twitter. Or add the photo to our Facebook Page.
This will be the easiest way for us to track your photos.
We will select 3 different winners. Each winner will receive a pair of tickets to Red, White and Brew in July, the Neon Crawl in September and the Halloween Crawl in October. 6 total tickets for each winner. And even if you can’t make them all you can transfer into a friend’s name.
The pictures can be of anything during the crawl. We want you to be spontaneous, original and really show us what the Crawl In Boston experience means to you.
Winners will be chosen by our Crawl In Boston staff and alerted the week after Drinko de Mayo. Winners’ pictures will be featured on our website.
You always do an awesome job at posting pictures and we know the competition will be fierce. We look forward to what you bring us this time. Just about a week to go. Starting thinking of some ideas!

Margarita Monday – Kiwi
This week I went with Kiwi. Previous margaritas were avocado and chocolate
Ingredients
Tequila…as much as you can handle
1 1/2 cups of sliced kiwis
2 tbsp lime juice
3 tbsp sugar
1 cup ice

A fund, Heroes of Beacon Street Fire, has been set up to assist the families of the two heroes who lost their lives. The funds raised here will be to assist the injured who remain in the hospital. Some have a very long recovery ahead. Drinko de Mayo is about a month away but we felt it was very important to contribute. Proceeds from the ticket sales will go to this important and amazing fund raiser.

Margarita Monday – Chocolate
With Drinko de Mayo coming up, we’re working on margaritas at home. Last week we tried an avocado one. This week we’re going with chocolate.
Below is the recipe I used to make around 3 to 4 drinks
- 1/2 cup chocolate syrup, plus more for the glasses
- 1 cup tequila
- 1/2 cup chocolate flavor liquor
- 1/3 cup Triple Sec
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Splash of lime juice
- 1 teaspoon of chili powder
- ice

Heroes of Beacon Street Fire Fund
On March 26th, two Boston Fire Fighters lost their lives when they fought a 9 alarm fire at 298 Beacon Street in Boston, MA. Firefighter Mike Kennedy and Lt. Ed Walsh from Engine 33/Ladder 15 died. FF Kennedy had served in the Marine Corps and Lt. Walsh has three children under the age of 10. More than a dozen other first responders were injured.
