Halloween Crawl Tomorrow!

Posted on Updated on

We can’t wait to see you on tomorrow. Your costumes get better every year. crawl in boston shield halloween

We have a few points of order to help make the day as smooth as possible:

Registration opens at 12:00 sharp and ends at 3:00.

Please note that there are a few other Halloween Bar Crawls tomorrow. And there’s been some confusion regarding tickets. I don’t want to name the other groups organizing tomorrow but if you didn’t buy your ticket on Eventbrite and it doesn’t say Crawl In Boston on it you are with a different group.

Ride in style with Uber to the crawl this Saturday! We’ve partnered with Uber to offer $20 off your first Uber ride to or from the festivities, just use code Crawl1026. New to Uber? No problem. The Uber app connects you with a driver at the touch of a button. Learn more about it here. Also, keep an eye on Crawl in Boston’s Twitter feed during the crawl for your chance to win Uber credits (for new or exisiting users)!

Registration will be by LAST name on your EventBrite ticket. You will need to bring either a printed Eventbrite ticket, or show the app on your phone. If you don’t have a paper ticket or the phone app, you can use your ID to pick up your ticket. Please be ready when you get to the top of the line. We’ll be checking in hundreds of you and nobody wants to be stuck behind the person who doesn’t have any of their stuff ready.

We realize that your check in bar might be different than your friends’. This is really just the easiest way to do it, so you can meet up with them after you check in, the bars are very close together. You won’t be able to check in at a bar that isn’t assigned to you. We sent out an e-mail last week to let us know by today. And we made 75+ changes to the guest list the last few days. But at this point we are not making any more as we need to distribute our final list.

Last Namebackpack

“A – E” – Mija Cantina – 1 South Market Street

“F – M” – Paddy O’s – 33 Union Street

“N – Z” – Harborside – 185 State Street

Once you register you will get a special wristband. You’ll need this wristband for access to all bars on the crawl. We have 4 different time slots with 3 to 4 bars at each slot. You will get the schedule at which bars to be at during our scheduled times. During these time slots, the bars will only accept people with the wristbands. The bouncers will be checking for wristband and we’ve also hired our own personal security to make sure ticketed crawlers are taken care of. Please don’t put your wristband on too tight. We have a limited number available.

We will have about 50 total tickets available for day of sales for wristbands only for $30 which will get you access to all of the bars, drink specials and food. These are on a first come, first serve basis. EXACT CHANGE ONLY. They can be purchased at either Mija Cantina, Paddy O’s or Harborside beginning at 12:00.

Bar schedule:

You will receive the entire schedule when you register. We have 14 total bars participating. All the bars will be in the Faneuil Hall and Financial District areas. We are not releasing the schedule prior to the crawl to avoid crawl crashers (we’ve already seen the Facebook and Twitter posts). We want to keep this event as exclusive as possible for your own comfort. Please note, the bars have the right to refuse entry to anyone due to bar capacity or personal incapacity.

CASH IS KING

I know that bringing your card might be easy. But when tons of people are trying to order drinks, it takes a lot more time to open and close a tab than to pay with cash. Plus you’d be surprised about how many people forget to close their tabs at the end of the night and leave for home without their credit cards.

Remember to drink responsibly.

Halloween Crawl This Weekend

Posted on Updated on

The Halloween Crawl is this Saturday. We’re very excited that you’ll be joining us. I wanted to reach out ahead of time about a logistical question we’ve been getting about registration. Most likely tomorrow ticket holders will be e-mailed their registration bar. There will be three registration bars split up by last name. Currently it’s looking like it will be as such:

Bar 1 – Last Name “A – E”tickled-031

Bar 2 – Last Name “F – N”

Bar 3 – Last Name “O – Z”

So for example, if you’re in a group with John Adams, Jane Fox and Greg Nice, you’ll have to register at 3 different bars. Once you do register and get your schedule you can meet up and decide which bars you want to go to. We will have multiple bars per time slot.

If you’d like to register together, the TICKET BUYER will need to contact us at crawlinboston@gmail.com. In the above example, if John Fox bought all 3 tickets we can put them all under his name. So when he comes to register, he’ll get 3 sets of stuff. The extras he can pass onto Jane and Greg. If John, Jane, and Greg bought their tickets separately, they will go to the three separate bars to check in, and can meet up after they receive their items. The bars are all close, so it won’t be a big deal.

Please let us know ASAP if you want to make a change on the registration name. Get it to us by no later than Wednesday at noon, as we’ll be printing out our final lists and distributing to our employees working the event.

See you soon. Cheers! C.I.B.

Santa Tickets Getting Low

Posted on

The $20 Santa tickets for the 12 Bars of X-Mas are down to about 20. Those account for our 1st 100 tickets sold. The next tier, Rudolph Ticket, will be $23.

Here are just some pictures from the past couple of years of this fantastic event.X-Mas Logo

2010 , 2011 and 2012

There’s 5 weeks between the  Neon Crawl and the Halloween Crawl.

6 weeks between the Halloween Crawl and 12 Bars of X-Mas.

But 9 weeks between 12 Bars of X-Mas and Valentine Crawl. So we’re thinking about doing something new this year. Perhaps a small crawl in January to bridge the gap. 9 weeks is way too long to keep the crawling at bay. Will keep you posted.

In the meantime, get your Halloween costumes ready and get your 12 Bars of X-Mas tickets if you’re free on December 7th. Cheers! -C.I.B.

You Did It Again

Posted on Updated on

We have the best crawlers in the world. Similar to last year, Halloween Crawl has SOLD OUT weeks in advance of the actual event. We thank you all for deciding to spend your time with us. We promise it will be an awesome party once again.

Unfortunately if you didn’t get a ticket on time, we are out of our standard tickets. Much of the custom items we include need to be ordered weeks in advance to insure they arrive on time. At this point we won’t have enough time to order a new batch. In the next day or so we will have about wristband only tickets available for people who still really want to attend for $30.00. These tickets will get access to the bars, drink specials and photo booth but won’t include other items such as the koozies, backpack, whoopee cushion, etc.

We weren’t expecting to put these on sale so early but tickets for the 12 Bars of X-Mas are now available. We hope you can join us for that.

Halloween Crawl Tickets Getting Low

Posted on

72265_1503845394535_4006496_nWe are starting to get low on tickets. At this pace we’ll run out before the weekend.

We wish we had room for as many of you as possible but we want to ensure that our crawlers have the best experience possible without being too overcrowded.

We’ve already started to work on the 12 Bars of X-Mas on December 7th. We plan to have tickets ready as soon as Halloween sells out.

So if you plan on coming don’t wait too much longer. We’re not planning on having a wait list for this event. Cheers -C.I.B.

Registration Info for Pirate Crawl this Saturday

Posted on Updated on

Ahoy me hearties!

Pirate Crawl / Party Cruise tickets here. Under 20 total tickets remain. pirate koozie

The Pirate Pub Crawl and Party Cruise is Saturday (June 8th)!We hope you are ready to raise the Jolly Roger and have a swashbucklin’ good time!

Here are some questions that we have been receiving and some general info to prepare you for the crawl/cruise:

How do I get my wristband(s)?

There will be a will call at Kitty O’Shea’s (131 State St.) from 12:00 – 1:30. There will also be a will call set up at the harbor (200 Seaport) starting at 1:00 pm.

In order to receive a wristband, you need a government issued id (driver’s license or passport) – without a government id, you cannot receive your ticket! If you purchased more than one ticket, your id will get you the number of tickets that you ordered. If you purchased a ticket for someone else, and you will not be in attendance, please let us know so we can switch the names in our system. ALSO PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU HAVE AN OUT OF STATE ID, BRING BACK UP IDENTIFICATION TO BOARD THE BOAT (credit card in your name, etc). This is the cruise company’s policy and they are very strict on whom they allow on board. We have no say on this issue.

Why do I need a wristband?

The wristband will get you on the boat for the party cruise. Additionally access to the bars along with a Pirate Crawl koozie and temporary tattoos.

Will the Crawl and Cruise happen rain or shine?

The crawl will happen rain or shine. As long as it is safe to be on the water, regardless of the weather, the cruise will also take place. The boat also has covered and enclosed decks, so you will be able to stay dry on the boat.In the unlikely event that the cruise is canceled, you will receive a refund.

What is the schedule? And what are the drink specials at each bar?

You will receive the full schedule and drink specials once you get your wristband. We have 7 bars along with the cruise. Each bar will have a $3 or less special except during the cruise.

The cruise will take place from 2:00 – 3:30 GO TO THE HARBOR FOR BOARDING EARLY – No shenanigans, no tomfoolery, no ballyhoo – You must be on the boat by 2!!!! You will receive a map upon getting your wristband, or you can follow your fellow pirates, or even take a cab or pedicab if you’re feeling lazy.

Any changes to the schedule will be posted both on the Facebook page and on www.CrawlinBoston.com

Please support the official bars along the crawl and do not wander off to other bars! Not only is it fun to crawl together, but some bars near the boat have actually told us they don’t want to be a part of the crawl. We want to respect their wishes while also keeping our thirsty business with those who actually want it! Trust us, we wish we could enjoy the bars in the Seaport as well.

Should I wear a costume?

Absolutely. What fun is a PIRATE crawl if you aren’t dressed as a PIRATE? That being said, you can go as big or as small as you want.

Where do I go for updates on the Pirate Pub Crawl and Booze Cruise?

You can always stay on top of things at http://crawlinboston.com or on our Facebook page (Crawl in Boston). You can email CrawlinBoston@gmail.com if you have any questions.

We will notify you via email (of all ticketed participants) of any major changes to the information above.

See you Saturday!

AAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!
