Halloween Crawl

Pats Win

Posted on

celebrateDays after a Pats win are always so much better. And I’ll be able to listen to sports radio this week.  Although I used to be able to wake up a lot better after a late game. Looks like they have another night game on October 16th. Really thinking about taking that Friday morning off from work.

Weekend did fly by but I did decide on at least one costume idea. So construction on that will begin this week.

It’s also looking like December 6th will be the 12 Bars of X-Mas. More details coming soon. Still working on some fun stuff for that.

Halloween Crawl ticket sales are picking up. I’m sure we’ll run out of our regular ticket option soon. So don’t wait too much longer.

Harpoon Octoberfest

Poster6 copyIt’s getting chilly out there. It’s Friday and I know that many of you are prepping for the big Harpoon Octoberfest. I’m dedicating my weekend to finding a half decent Halloween costume idea. Just about 4 short weeks to go until the biggest Halloween event in Boston.

Winter Hats Have Arrived

Posted on Updated on

package hats2They shipped from China about 6 weeks ago but the winter hats have now arrived. I must admit that I got a lot of strange looks when these arrived from neighbors. It may have looked like I was starting a Boston cartel. But it really is just 750 winter hats. Make no mistake, it was very difficult opening up the packaging. They put it in tight.

It’s still over 6 weeks away but we sold out of our early bird tickets in just a few days. And we’re going strong on our regular tickets.

There are many Halloween themed crawls in Boston each year. We only sell our tickets via Eventbrite. So make sure you get yours from us.

Our Neon Light, Bright and Tight crawl was this past weekend. Pictures are now posted here. Or if you like to tag they’re also on facebook

Neon Crawl Registration Info

Posted on Updated on

4We can’t wait to see you on Saturday for Neon Light, Bright and Tight.

We have a few points of order to help make the day as smooth as possible:

Registration opens at 12:00 sharp and ends at 3:00.

You will need to bring either a printed Eventbrite ticket or show the app on your phone. If you don’t have a paper ticket or the phone app, you can use your ID to pick up your ticket. Please be ready when you get to the top of the line. We’ll be checking in hundreds of you and nobody wants to be stuck behind the person who doesn’t have any of their stuff ready.

Registration will be

12:00 – 3:00 – Paddy O’s – 33 Union Street

We will have a few total tickets available for day of sales for $20. The day of tickets will include everything EXCEPT the light up sunglasses. We’re out of those. If we have extra after 3:00 they’ll be up for grabs.

These are on a first come, first serve basis. EXACT CHANGE ONLY. They can be purchased at either of the above scheduled registration bars.

Bar schedule:

You will receive the entire schedule when you register. We have 10 bars total. All the bars will be in the Faneuil Hall and Financial District areas. We are not releasing the schedule prior to the crawl, as we want to keep this event as exclusive as possible for your own comfort. Please note, the bars have the right to refuse entry to anyone due to bar capacity or personal incapacity. Also, you will need to show a valid license or ID to gain entry to the bars.

CASH IS KING

I know that bringing your card might be easy. But when tons of people are trying to order drinks, it takes a lot more time to open and close a tab than to pay with cash. Plus you’d be surprised about how many people forget to close their tabs at the end of the night and leave for home without their credit cards. There are multiple ATMs around Faneuil Hall…check one out!

Remember to drink responsibly.ml

Neon Crawl coming up and we’ve got Halloween Hats

Posted on Updated on

halloween hatsThe newest prototype has arrived. We received so much positive response about our 12 Bars of X-Mas hats that we’re trying to get some made for the Halloween Crawl as well. We know you’ll be in costume but we feel it will be a nice take home souvenir. However since they come from overseas the shipping process takes a very long time. So we might be limited to 500 or so.

We’re under a month to go! The Neon Light, Bright and Tight Crawl returns on September 13th. Your ticket will includes drink specials at all the bars, Koozie, Light Up Sunglasses, Foam Baton, Lei and Light Up Jelly Ring.

Halloween Crawl Tomorrow!

Posted on Updated on

We can’t wait to see you on tomorrow. Your costumes get better every year. crawl in boston shield halloween

We have a few points of order to help make the day as smooth as possible:

Registration opens at 12:00 sharp and ends at 3:00.

Please note that there are a few other Halloween Bar Crawls tomorrow. And there’s been some confusion regarding tickets. I don’t want to name the other groups organizing tomorrow but if you didn’t buy your ticket on Eventbrite and it doesn’t say Crawl In Boston on it you are with a different group.

Ride in style with Uber to the crawl this Saturday! We’ve partnered with Uber to offer $20 off your first Uber ride to or from the festivities, just use code Crawl1026. New to Uber? No problem. The Uber app connects you with a driver at the touch of a button. Learn more about it here. Also, keep an eye on Crawl in Boston’s Twitter feed during the crawl for your chance to win Uber credits (for new or exisiting users)!

Registration will be by LAST name on your EventBrite ticket. You will need to bring either a printed Eventbrite ticket, or show the app on your phone. If you don’t have a paper ticket or the phone app, you can use your ID to pick up your ticket. Please be ready when you get to the top of the line. We’ll be checking in hundreds of you and nobody wants to be stuck behind the person who doesn’t have any of their stuff ready.

We realize that your check in bar might be different than your friends’. This is really just the easiest way to do it, so you can meet up with them after you check in, the bars are very close together. You won’t be able to check in at a bar that isn’t assigned to you. We sent out an e-mail last week to let us know by today. And we made 75+ changes to the guest list the last few days. But at this point we are not making any more as we need to distribute our final list.

Last Namebackpack

“A – E” – Mija Cantina – 1 South Market Street

“F – M” – Paddy O’s – 33 Union Street

“N – Z” – Harborside – 185 State Street

Once you register you will get a special wristband. You’ll need this wristband for access to all bars on the crawl. We have 4 different time slots with 3 to 4 bars at each slot. You will get the schedule at which bars to be at during our scheduled times. During these time slots, the bars will only accept people with the wristbands. The bouncers will be checking for wristband and we’ve also hired our own personal security to make sure ticketed crawlers are taken care of. Please don’t put your wristband on too tight. We have a limited number available.

We will have about 50 total tickets available for day of sales for wristbands only for $30 which will get you access to all of the bars, drink specials and food. These are on a first come, first serve basis. EXACT CHANGE ONLY. They can be purchased at either Mija Cantina, Paddy O’s or Harborside beginning at 12:00.

Bar schedule:

You will receive the entire schedule when you register. We have 14 total bars participating. All the bars will be in the Faneuil Hall and Financial District areas. We are not releasing the schedule prior to the crawl to avoid crawl crashers (we’ve already seen the Facebook and Twitter posts). We want to keep this event as exclusive as possible for your own comfort. Please note, the bars have the right to refuse entry to anyone due to bar capacity or personal incapacity.
