Boston Blazers Season Ticket Party

Posted on Updated on

blazers
The Pats are done for the season and this is the slowest Hot Stove Season I can ever remember the Red Sox having.
However we still have the Celtics and Bruins looking like championship contenders. And better yet, the Boston Blazers Lacrosse team is back and looking for support.

The Boston Blazers, Game On!, and Social Boston Sports are offering fans a first-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

On January 7th, at Game On!, there will be a reception for any fan spending $40 for Boston Blazers season tickets.

You read that correctly: For $40 to the Boston Blazers, you will get season tickets AND a reception, while tickets last. The bottom floor of Game On! will be all Blazers from 5:30 – 7:30 pm.

Members of the Boston Blazers, and the dance team will be in attendance.

Be a part of rockin’ the TD Banknorth Garden for the Blazers inaugural campaign this winter by showing up January 7th!

WHAT WHERE WHEN

Every December, cacophonous Santas rampage through cities around the world. It started in ‘94 when a few dozen cheap-suited Santas crashed downtown San Francisco for a night of Kringle Kaos. Things have since reached Critical Xmas and Santarchy is now a global phenomenon. You’d better watch out! Santa’s coming to town!

Boston Santacon 2008 starts at Faneuil Hall Marketplace (The Purple Shamrock 1:00 PM, maybe Cheers and Salty Dog after). Then Santa marches on Beacon Hill (21st Amendment 4:00), parades through the Common and down Charles Street, rides the Redline to Harvard Square (John Harvard’s 7:00), and finally rides the 66 (9:30 PM) straight to Harper’s Ferry to shake his red flannel booty ‘til dawn!

Happy December! Just wanted to give a quick update on the upcoming 12 Bars of Christmas.

Per usual, we will also be collecting donations of food/personal items for Horizons for Homeless Children. (At The Times & JA Stats only)

Their mission is to improve the lives of homeless children and their families. They depend largely on donations to make their programs function. Every donated good allows them to spend money on other ways of improving a child’s life.

Currently their list of dire needs includes:

Paint (watercolor, school paint, and finger paint, all in larger sizes), paintbrushes, paint daubers and large sized crayons and markers

Craft supplies (glitter, craft sticks, pompoms, colored pipe cleaners, feathers, buttons, gallon and regular size glue bottles, Crayola Model Magic Clay, Play-Doh and rolling pins, cookie cutters, stencils, wiggle eyes )

Paper (easel, finger paint, construction, shiny, tissue paper, contact paper, poster board, butcher roll paper , preschool lined)

Large rolls of paper and paper rack

Stickers, Magnetic letters and shapes

Felt board and story pieces

Child safe scissors – round edge, plastic

Tape: masking tape, colored tape, scotch tape

Ballpoint pens

Infant toys

Play-Doh

Cars and trucks (large enough to not be choking hazard)

Musical Instruments

Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head and Accessories

If you can’t bring something, we will also be selling nametags for $1.00 each. All the proceeds will go to Horizons of Homeless Children.
